Provenance: JP.Schneider collections
Dali created the New York City Suite in 1964 for Schneider / Wucua. He painted in watercolor the New York Plaza square and offered it to JP.Schneider. He then allowed Schneider to print the watercolor as a lithographic poster. This is a pre-text, or "avant la lettre" impression that is lacking the text printed in the poster version.
